2026-2027 Stars Scholarship Application Deadline is March 31st

The 2026–2027 Stars Scholarship application is now open and eligible students can submit their applications online at www.starsscholarship.org. The deadline to apply is March 31st at 5:00 PM CST.

The Stars Scholarship Fund is a nonprofit organization that helps students across South and West Texas take the next step in their education. Stars supports students from 30 counties who are working toward a degree at an accredited college or university and are committed to finishing what they start.

To be eligible, students must be U.S. citizens or legal permanent residents who have lived in South or West Texas for at least five consecutive years. Applicants should have completed a high school diploma or equivalent, earned at least 12 undergraduate credit hours (including dual credit or AP), and have a minimum college GPA of 2.7. Students must also be enrolled in a degree-seeking program at an accredited U.S. community college, university, or graduate school.
