Soccer Legend, Luis “El Matador” Hernandez, Visits El Paso for Market Tour

In partnership with L&F Distributors and Michelob ULTRA, Mexican National Team soccer Legend, Luis “El Matador” Hernandez, is coming to Sun City on Friday, July 19th for a five-stop market tour with meet-and-greet opportunities for local fans!

This exclusive fan event offers a chance to meet the soccer icon in person, take a photo with him and get his autograph. There will be five opportunities at the following times and locations:

“There is such a strong Mexican National Team soccer fanbase here in El Paso and when Michelob ULTRA offered the opportunity to bring down El Matador, we had to jump on it fast,” said Lisa Peisen, Owner and Partner of L&F Distributors. “He’s a legend in every sense and we know the El Paso fans will love the opportunity to meet him.”
Luis Hernández made his mark in Liga MX with multiple clubs, winning league championships in the mid-1990s. He scored 35 goals in 85 appearances for the Mexico National Team, contributing to Gold Cup victories in 1996 and 1998 and helping Mexico win the 1999 FIFA Confederations Cup. He later joined LA Galaxy in MLS, where he scored 15 goals, earned two All-Star selections, and won the 2001 U.S. Open Cup.
